Happy New Year 2015 from Arrow Driving Academy!
Hello to all past and present students of Arrow Driving Academy and happy 2015!! What happened to 2014?!? J It seems to have passed in a blur but it was a fantastic year for Arrow and we would like to thank everyone who has helped us to achieve so much, especially our students and we would like to wish you all the very best for 2015.
So 2015 is upon us and with New Years Eve fading into the distance it is time for us to cast our eyes forward and consider what we want to achieve in 2015. For Arrow Driving Academy we are aiming to build on what we do best – instructing. Providing quality instruction to our students is our primary focus and with the new check tests coming in we are keen to take on board any new training standards and procedures and incorporate them into our lessons. I think that is what keeps this job fresh and motivating, it is the constant ability to learn from the experience of the job. It is great to pick something up and be able to implement it into lessons over the following weeks and months.
Being an instructor to me seems to be about multitasking and being able to adapt and both these skill sets come into play everyday when in the car instructing. As instructors we use these skills day to day even in our personal lives, the focus being instructor requires carries over and it is a brilliant asset to nurture. In previous roles I did not need to be as focused, or at least I was not required to sustain the levels of focus that instructing needs. It is a great skill to grow and develop and one we look forward nurture even more over the coming year. All this talk of development is aimed at one thing and that is upcoming training opportunities with Arrow Driving Academy. If you would like to become an ADI (Approved Driving Instructor) then contact us and we might just have the right ideas, inspiration and training that you are looking for!
For me 2015 will be about building on what have already achieved and to keep that openness to learning. As a driving school we are looking forward to 2015 and the challenges and opportunities it will bring. Thanks again for your continued support. More blogs will be posted soon so keep checking in. Keeping the momentum going is as key for us as it is our students so here is to 2015 and the unwritten script!
